  • Cementos Argos S. A. has a presence in Venezuela through its subsidiary, Corporación de Cemento Andino C. A., which is currently part of a legal process regarding expropriation by the Venezuelan government.

Vertical integration in the cement and concrete businesses allows us to capture greater efficiencies in the production chain.

The percentages refer to the weight of the use of cement or clinker within the availability of the resource from the source.

  • Clinker: main component of cement.

Our plant in Cartagena has the capacity to produce 3.5 million tons per year. Besides being one of the most efficient in the Americas, it serves as a hub for interconnecting our operations in the three regions, strengthening our export platform.
